So, what does all of this mean for our kiddos with IEPs? It means that it's likely that they haven't received the services and support that are necessary for their success in their learning environment. The legal system will likely be very busy in the upcoming months providing compensatory awards to recover them.

Here’s the truth: our children are struggling emotionally. They have a layer of regression, from not being in school, and they have a layer of trauma from the state of Covid isolation and changes. The world feels uncertain right now and our children are feeling it!

“In 2014 I obtained my Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology from Cal State University of Fullerton. It was in my last year that I had an “ah ha!” moment and realized that Physical Therapy was not what I wanted or needed to do with my life.
